The US is leading with 100kgs, followed by china at 30kgs. India’s Per Capita Consumption is estimated at 10kgs for 2011 which makes it the 3rd largest per capita consumer in the world. China is and will continue to be the world’s largest market for polymers with annual consumption of about 50m Tonnes. India’s consumption of plastics in 2015 is estimated to 7.5M tonnes to 15 M tonnes.
